Education

Formal education is what all the millennial strive to achieve. Education is not only an assurance of job but develops the individual to become a better citizen, resource for the community and above all acquire knowledge to improve their lives.

Most rural communities across Southern Sudan, are recovering from two decades of the North-South civil war which is estimated to have killed about 2 million people and displaced 4 million others. Until 2008, Mango-tree shadows provide classrooms and office space for studentss and teachers at Yari Kindergarten.

Christine, the founder of the project is a Sudanese and she realizes that the only way to help in the post war recovery is through strengthening the education system. She is interested in joining others to work with rural communities across Southern Sudan to improve education facilities for Kindergarten schools.

If you are interested in promoting education for the next generation, please join this cause. You don't have to be rich to make a difference. It only requires little commitment. Get a few friends together and see what you can do for things like Yari Project. Any help is certainly welcome.

Feel free to go over some of the pictures taken during the Yari project.
